St. Xavier’s will be celebrating its 60th anniversary
in a few months. We have come a long way in the service and
education sectors - a tribute to those who have gone before
us, with whose blessings we continue to carry on their work.
A tribute to you parents, friends, and well wishers we couldn’t
have gone forward without your financial and moral support and
to a large extent, your belief in our capabilities to deliver
the best. A tribute to you, teachers for keeping up the name
of St. Xavier’s School. And a tribute to you, dear students
alumni and those presently studying we wouldn’t be celebrating
60 years if it weren’t for you.
Success for us at St. Xavier’s is seeing your
children educated and ready to take on the world; to see the
proud smile on the face of parents as their child opens his/her
wings and gets ready to soar. Success stories don’t end with
a full stop. We continuously strive to be better, to do better
and to bring out the best in your child. Never losing sight
of this objective and also considering the growing number of
students, we have now taken up the project of constructing a
new school building the infrastructure of which will cater to
all these needs. The total cost of the new building is Rs. 12,00,00,000.
It is a huge amount and is definitely worth every paisa to see
students pass out from here every year, stepping out of these
gates with the confidence that their education has given them.
The amount for the building is a loan, and
we are trying to be innovative in finding ways to pay it off
as soon as we can. If we are able to raise Rs. 1, 00, 00,000
per year, it will take 12 years for the entire debt to be cleared.
In past years we at St. Xavier’s have put in our best efforts
to raise funds through various means, mainly through the School
mela. Up to now we have had eleven School melas and have raised
Rs. 1, 06, 12,688 from them.
Our sincere thanks to all who have generously contributed towards
this noble cause. The challenges are many but with your help
we can continue to dream more dreams and keep on pushing the
frontiers of possibilities. The project of the new school building
seems magnanimous, but it needn’t be impossible knowing that
we have your support through finances and through prayers. We
know that you will continue to encourage us and even when things
look bleak, we’ll look towards that encouragement to spur us
on. A humble request goes out to you to help us in our effort
to do things for the greater glory of God and the universal
good.
I also request every parent to come forward
in support of our scholarship programme. Thank you to all who
are already a part of this noble endeavour. If you are willing
to help, please contact the Principal during office hours.
Fees are revised in the beginning of every
academic year. More details will be given on Orientation Day.
Again, thanks a lot for your role in the development
of St. Xavier’s School through your children and looking forward
to your continued support and cooperation.
